Interceptor Options
Interceptor
InterceptorRegardless of the location of the site, a reclaim system does require a 3 stage interceptor. If the water needs to be treated in any way an oversized interceptor would have to be used. This would need to be installed by contractor. This allows the water to be pre-treated while it is still in the interceptor. If there are plans to fit a reclaim in the future it would be advisable to fit an oversized interceptor as this can then be utilised in the future. There are 2 ways of doing this.
Underground Interceptor
Water from the silt trap would fall to a 6000Ltr underground interceptor. Ground works would need to be carried out to install this interceptor and there are also pipe work connections to be made between the interceptor and the plant room containing the reclaim system.
Above ground interceptor
If you do not wish to involve civil works, or if the site is already constructed, an above ground 6000Ltr interceptor can be supplied. Water from the silt trap would fall to a small pumping chamber, and an automatic pump would then discharge the water to above ground interceptor.
