Distribution
We supply to a variety of products to various distribution companies. Whether this be Tesco who have a huge HGV fleet or UK coal who distribute their product via the rail network, we still have a range of products that can help.
Warehousing
Products commonly used for warehouse cleaning operations include sweepers, scrubber dryers, pressure washers, vacuums, and vapour steams. Morclean can provide a wide variety of machines to suit areas of different size.
We have divided the industry into 5 sections but if you don't see your particular industry above or if your requirements are more specialised, please contact us and one of our specialists will be happy to talk to you.
Cleaning in the Distribution Industry
Haulage companies need to keep their HGV vehicles clean to comply with health and safety legislation, lower the risk of product contamination and to generally look smart and serviceable.
Morclean can offer cleaning solutions for both the interior and exteriors of HGV's. A mobile pressure washer would be ideal to remove any tough dirt on the exterior. Whilst a vacuum would eradicate any leftovers within the interior.
Any tough product spillages may be dealt with by a conventional pressure washer or if the spillage is something such as milk this will need to be cleaned very thoroughly as any leftover residue will turn sour. To eradicate such small particles a Morclean vapour steam system would be ideal.
We also provide fixed installation Jet and/or Wheel wash systems that vehicles drive through. We are very proud of the advancements that we have made in this field not only providing the washing facilities for the vehicles but also providing the equipment that treats the water after the wash. This is a very specialist area and as such we would need to discuss your requirements with you before deciding upon an exact solution.

When a business produces wastewater (i.e. from vehicle washing) it has to be contained and either purified or removed. Morclean can provide water reclaim systems which comply with the Environment Agency legislation.

Foundry
Keeping a foundry clean and more importantly safe is a constant challenge as many of the particles produced in this type of industrial environment are hazardous and pose a serious health risk.
When dealing with dust hazards, selecting a suitable dust extraction system to handle the different quantities and type of materials generated in a modern foundry can seem daunting. The term 'dust' covers a wide variety of particles. It can refer to everything from metal swarf generated in the machine shop to sand used for moulds.
In addition to dry dusts there may be liquid spills to deal with, such as cutting fluids that can present a hazard to people and machinery if they are not dealt with quickly and efficiently. Floors can become slippery if not cleaned properly, airborne particles can settle on tools and machinery resulting in costly breakdowns and a build up of dust can even cause explosions.
Finding the right cleaning equipment depends on a number of factors. For example, is both wet and dry pick up required? What is the total floor area, and are there different floor types or special coatings? These can be damaged if the wrong cleaning methods and fluids are used. The answers to these questions will determine the equipment that best suits the application and budget.

Office Cleaning
Regular vacuuming keeps office buildings looking clean, removes accumulated dirt that can cause permanent soiling, staining and damage to carpets and ultimately prolong the life of carpets. Regular vacuuming also makes it easier to spot any frayed areas or bald spots in carpets, where slips or trips could occur.
A carpet that is properly cleaned is not only free of dirt and dust, but also pollens and dust mites which can cause allergies and breathing problems.
For detail vacuuming i.e. under desks, between filing cabinets and walls, any edges and other areas that can't be reached with a regular vacuum a back pack vacuum is ideal.

Cleaning companies also have to be able to clean a variety of floor surfaces as office buildings now have many types of flooring i.e. stone, marble, slate, granite, and terrazzo.

Vapour Steam Cleaners are very thorough achieving temperatures of up to 180 degrees! They are ideal for various applications in the office environment i.e. deep cleaning elevators, reception areas, lifts, carpets, upholstery, and ventilation shafts. The vapour penetrates into the most difficult to reach areas and removes the need to use unpleasant smelling chemicals.
Shipping Agents
Cleanliness is extremely important. A dirty ship will pose huge health and safety problems and ensure customers will not return.
Vapour Steamers are designed to clean where conventional methods of water, chemicals and scrubbing are not sufficient. Vapour steamers will thoroughly sterilise the upholstery in the ship, the lifts, toilet areas and many more. They can be relied upon to penetrate into the porous areas that the conventional methods cannot.
Vapour Steamers
A back pack vacuum would be ideal for cramped parts of the ship or areas where it would be impossible to operate a floor mounted vacuum. The unit is not heavy and the weight is evenly distributed about the operators shoulders. For more information on this model please use this link. Back Pack Vacuum Cleaner
A scrubber drier or a sweeper would be an ideal cleaning solution for walkways and gangways within a larger ship.
The operator can either walk behind and push the machine or for larger areas a ride-on version would be more suitable.
We recommend that your scrubber dryer is only used indoors on relatively smooth and even floors.
We supply smaller push pedestrian scrubber dryers right up to large ride-on machines. Our scrubber dryers are powered either by mains electric or battery.

Warehouse Sweeping & Cleaning
Morclean can provide a comprehensive range of floor cleaning equipment including sweepers, scrubber dryers, vacuums and pressure washers which are all ideally suited to a warehouse environment.
Vacuumated sweepers have brushes which rotate at high speed and throw up dirt and debris which is then collected in a container. The sweeper has an efficient filtration system to contain all the dust within the machine.
Side brushes enable the operator to clean close to edges e.g. along steps, kerbs, shelving or racking and walls.
You can use a sweeper both indoors and out on most floor surfaces such as concrete, linoleum, rubber, marble, tarmac, wood, paving slabs, laminate etc.
The scrubber dryer uses water and detergent with rotating scrubbing brushes to agitate the dirt on the floor. The machine then dries the floor using the squeegee and the vacuum and the dirty water is sucked into the waste tank.
We recommend that your scrubber dryer is only used indoors on relatively smooth and even floors i.e. marble, sealed wood, tiles, non-slip surfaces, linoleum, concrete, etc.
Morclean supply sweepers and scrubber dryers in varying widths and capacities depending on the size and type of area you need to clean. We supply smaller push pedestrian models as well as large heavy duty ride-on models.
Lots of warehouses have unloading bays which can become clogged with dirt, refuse and discarded material and a Morclean pressure washer would be ideal to remove such tough dirt.
We also have a broad range of vacuums that can be used tin a warehouse environment.
Machines that may be suitable for use in such an environment:
Hot water pressure washers
Cold Water Pressure Washers
Heavy Duty Vacuum Cleaners
Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaners
Safety Vacuums
Scrubber Dryers
Sweepers
Morclean has recently expanded its vehicle washing range and can now provide drive through brush wash systems for a wide range of vehicles including cars, lorries, buses, tankers, and trains.
Some of the bigger van units (7.5 tonnes, and upwards) have curtain sides to them which attract dirt and a pressure washer would be ideal to remove these unattractive marks.
