Multi Lane Valeting & Wash Bays

Multi Lane Valeting & Wash Bays.
Morclean have designed and installed a range of Commercial Car Washes with Multi Lane Valeting and Wash Bay Systems. The system uses water via high pressure jet wash units to clean the cars.

The general specification listed below (based on a 3 lane car wash) will give you an idea of the systems available. Our technicians will be happy to advise further on your specific site and vehicle wash needs.

1. Silt trap situated in each lane ideally situated in between the first and second washing operation.

2. 1x 8000Ltr 3 Stage Interceptor.

3. For the first stage of washing we suggest hot foam lance on each lane, this would be achieved by a twin hot cabinet wash and one single cabinet with oil fired burner unit, giving independent use on each lane and quick release couplings.
Two twin cabinet washes to give spare capacity in case of breakdown or even longer life of wash by rotating.

4. For the second stage high pressure cold rinse off comprising of a 3 interpump pump (or 4 pump station to give some spare capacity) and motor spec. 1500Psi, 14Lpm, 240 volts, 3.5Hp motor complete with break water tank, and two minute time out which stops pump/motor if left not used for more than 2 minutes (stops motor burn out) with independent remote control per station.

5. We can install on/off remote controls on each lane where required, with shut off valves and quick release couplings to allow lances to be removed at night.

6. We may have to treat the water in the underground sump, with a cleansing agent. This would depend on what chemicals are to be used – foam alloy wheel cleaner, traffic film remover etc. Also any oils that may enter the sump.

System
A Reverse Osmosis system which comprises of air generation and iron removal. During the process we would soften the water and add pure salts to regenerate the water.

Flow rates & Tanks
The system would operate at a flow rate of 1 cubic metre per hour. This would require a 16 cubic metre, 3.8 x 2.5m below ground storage tank to maintain the flow to the pressure washers. Based on a system to treat a maximum of 20 cubic metres per day. Our understanding of regulations are that you are permitted to remove up to 20 cubic metres per day before requiring a licence.

Installation & delivery
The system would require a booster pump to feed the pressure washers after treatment and 6 feed pipes to each, as well as connections to the provided power and town water in the event of top up. As we are discharging approx 25% of water per day this will need to be directed to mains foul drain via a pipe or duct etc.

Footprint and dims
The anticipated maximum dimension of the unit would be 3.2m and we need to ensure this can be accommodated in the plant room.

Terms & delivery
The delivery period from the date of a confirmed and written order is 6 to 8 weeks.
