1977
MCE Engineering was originally established in 1977 as a supplier of Engineering, Agricultural and Industrial Equipment, later adding to their range other cleaning equipment including High Pressure Water Cleaners and Steam Cleaners aimed at Transport, Food and other Industrial applications.
1987 to 1992
The Company continued to develop it's range of Cleaning Equipment and after a merger and acquisition changed the name to Morclean Ltd. Also a move to larger premises in 1993 enabled the business to increase its activities in specialist equipment including the special build, design and installation, one off problem solving, floor care scrubber dryers, larger engine driven units, ring main systems, Cleaning In Place and pedestrian and ride-on sweepers.
1996
Morclean also acquired the business interests, staff, premises, stock, spares and service contracts of both "Swan KEW Cleaning Systems Ltd" and "Power Wash Supplies (West Midlands) Ltd" and operated throughout the West Midlands, from premises in Wednesbury. Morclean were therefore able to offer Sales Service and Hire in South Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Birmingham, Worcestershire, South Staffordshire and West Midlands area.
1997
Between 1993 and 1997 Morclean increased both its geographical coverage and product range. In mid 1995 a satellite depot was opened at Nottingham in order to provide local service to an increased number of customers in the Notts and Leicester areas .Morclean also gained the approval and backing of the DTI, for Specialised Food Industry Cleaning Packages and Systems.
