Profile 1998 to 2000
1998-2000
It was soon realised that Morclean’s supplier’s policy changes were greatly affecting the business namely in general Cleaning Equipment. In conclusion there were now thousands of outlets for ‘off the shelf’ equipment rather than the end user customer needing to contact a specialist dealer. During 1998/9 the end user business was streamlined into solely the Birmingham and Chesterfield sites. It was considered that the company should direct it’s efforts into Equipment installation and water reclaim via a UK supply rather than multiple end user depots, and it was only necessary to operate with one or two depots
During 1998 / 2000
Morclean had established a niche market especially with the Waste Management and Transport sectors. Traditionally this type of installation work included the food industry, however Morclean decided to further develop specialist products in these Waste and Transport sectors. One such product is a screened gantry wash area and water reclaim system, and this product has been marketed to most of the UK major waste management companies including Onyx, Biffa Waste, Sita etc
