What Do I Need to Do?

Our comprehensive range of interceptors and separators include those used for vehicle washing, oil separation, forecourts and car parks. There are specific separators and interceptors for each individual project and Morclean can offer advice for the appropriate model and specification.
Streamflow
By pass separators for car parks and hard standings.
The Streamflow separators are specified by the size of the car park in M², outflow to surface or mains foul (class 2) you cannot discharge vehicle wash (class 1) water to a Streamflow separator.
Washceptor
For vehicle wash areas where the contaminated oil outflows to a mains foul drain (not a surface drain or watercourse) Morclean’s range of Washceptors can also be fitted with an oil removal device. Wash water cannot outflow to an oil interceptor.
Oil Safe
Where there is a high risk of contamination by oils an oil separator is required. Vehicle washing cannot be carried out in the same area.
Fuel Safe
Typically for garage forecourts or fuel islands where there is a risk of large spillages of oils from delivery tankers.
It is important to refer to the appropriate PPG guidelines for the appropriate specification and use of an interceptor or separator.
