Supajet Reclaim
FEATURES
The supajet is suitable for all jet and pressure wash systems. The system consists of prefilters, an internal GAC filter/absorption bed, storage tank and booster pump. The system can be fully enclosed if required and all controls are related to 1P55.
CONSTRUCTION
Fabrication is in stainless steel grade 304D. The unit is also enclosed in a fully enclosed version with security and frost protection.
ADVANTAGES
In some parts of the country the water authority are having to restrict water use either by refusing to supply water for vehicle washing or to increase the size of the mains supply. Water authorities are becoming particularly concerned with the quality of effluent discharge and placing stricter control and discharge limits. In certain circumstances where consent is not given a Morclean water recycling system can permit the installation of vehicle wash installations as all the water is recycled.
OPERATION
Water used during the vehicle washing and rinsing cycle is gathered in a below ground collection tank (ST 3250 three stage interceptor) Any oil is removed by absorbent cellulose pads which are placed in the collection tank. All coarse or heavy material or contaminants are all collected in the tank. A water conditioner is often dosed to the tank to breakdown emulsions and improve settlement. A sump pump transfers wash water from the underground tank and through two pre-filters to an internal GAC filter/absorption bed. After percolating through the bed the treated fresh water is returned to the pressure or jet wash. The bed is periodically aerated to redistribute and improve performance of the bed
