Supporting History & Culture in Italy
It's no secret that many of our suppliers are based in Northern Italy and because of this we make regular trips to the Reggio Emelia (RE) area to visit our suppliers. Over many years of travelling through RE we have met many wonderful people and become friends with both suppliers and local characters in the region. One such place is a town called Guastalla, and nearby Gonzaga.Guastalla is located on the heart of the Po River and its banks. The Italian town boasts beautiful scenery and a 16th Century Cathedral and the stunning Ducal Palace. Guastalla is also located not far from the main cities of Reggio Emilia, Parma, and Mantova.

More recently we're delighted to be associated with and promote the
Societa Per La Valorizzazione Culturalle e Turistica di Guastalla
The Society for the promotion of Culture and Tourism of Guastalla promotes, through training of its members, a collaboration between government agencies and other owners for the implementation of operational projects, promotion, management, and culture. The Society considers tourism as an inseparable connection of history, tradition and identity.
These are the aims of the association who sees itís creation back to the '30s, when Guastalla intended to equip a person able to carry out activities to promote and enhance local tourism. Morclean now support the Society and encourage visitors to the area
Today the partners intend to combine the civic tradition with the operational flexibility of multimedia, internet, social networks etc. The aim is to support ideas and practical actions that can be instrumental in understanding the acceptance and promotion of culture and tourism, highlighting the significant public monuments which Guastalla has. The Society strives to do this without forgetting its natural and important places of faith and art, the cultural and environmental components that they represent, together with the navigation of the river Po and wine, a place of significant tourist interest
Immediately, the event which will involve the association is the Pink Night (Palazzo Ducale) to be held Saturdays.
