PRODUCT CODE: TFB
Product Description
A special cleaning preparation for use with equipment which produces a stable cleaning foam. This foam may be left in site for a few minutes in order to derive a prolonged cleaning effect but is easily rinsed away with water at the appropriate time. This material is a heavy duty, strongly alkaline cleaner, for the removal of stubborn traffic film from commercial vehicles, also for degreasing engines, chassis and components.
The new foam blanket technique allows vehicles to be cleaned with much less hazard from airborne alkaline overspray, compared with normal pressure spray washing. This because the cleaning is done with plain water as the foam blanket is pressure rinsed off. This new technique is also economical in the use of cleaning chemical, since most of the machine running time is with plain water.
Directions
Normal working strength is in the order of 0.5% at the working nozzle, using hot or cold water.
Working conditions should be as mild (lowest temperature, lowest concentration, shortest dwell time) as possible. It is important to adjust working conditions to avoid damage to alkali sensitive surfaces. It is most important to avoid excessive feed rates with this product, excessive concentrations can damage paintwork or alkali sensitive materials. Metallised plastic and aluminium trim are very alkali sensitive, this product is to be used on such items strictly at the user's risk.
Do not allow foam to dwell for more than a few minutes or to dry on. Rinse foam away with plenty of plain water as soon as the soil is penetrated. Always run plain water through the equipment immediately after use.
