STARTING UP
Water Filling
Check that the cord plug is not inserted in the main electric socket, slowly remove the closure cap to take out the possible steam or pressure residuals and slowly fill about 2 litres of simple tap water.
Close with it`s cap.
When the water in the boiler ends up the orange LED with the funnel symbol turns ON

“ Do not fill any chemicals, detergents, essential- oils on the refill tank, this operation may cause serious damages to the boiler and to the automatic refill system. Morclean is not responsible for any damage caused by improper use.”

Preparation
Open the main socket front cover and insert the flexible hose with some strength till hearing the locking click. The particular design of the socket allows a perfect and simple connection.

Plug into a 230volt, 50/60 Hz socket outlet with earth connection. The socket shall be protected against short circuits and earth defaults (16A e ld= 30 mA differential thermomagnetic switch).

From the main switch turn the appliance ON. The heating of the boiler starts. Start steaming only when the ‘ready steam’ LED is ON.
The machine is ready to generate steam.

ATTENTION
● Never direct the steam jet onto appliances with electrical components.
● Never touch the steam jet with your hands, do not direct the steam jet at your feet, other people or animals.
● Do not use the steam jet directly on furniture covered by natural leather or synthetic leather, velvet, fabrics and other delicate surfaces. These material can be cleaned using the multipurpose brush wrapped with a cloth and kept by the opposite pliers positioned on the brush.
● During the change of the accessory be careful to stop the steam.

A buzzer and the orange LED will advise the user when the water in the refill tank ends up. Refill the water as per the previous instructions stated in the water refill paragraph.

MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the machine from the electrical mains after use and before carrying out any cleaning or service operation on the appliance.

Cleaning of the main unit body
To keep the appliance always in good appearance and brightening it is sufficient to periodically clean it after having unplugging it with a soft wet cloth. Do not keep the appliance in water or other liquids. Do not use alcohol, inflammables liquids or other solvents.

It is recommended to periodically check the power cord: if it is noticeable that it is worn out or if there are any abrasions, scratches or defects please contact the nearest service centre.

SPECIAL MAINTENANCE
The following interventions shall be made only by qualified persons. If possible please contact the service centre for technical assistance.

CLEAN BOILER FOR LIMESTONE EVERY 8-12 MONTHS
● The appliance should be cool & off for at least three hours.
● Unplug from the main current socket
● Unscrew the boiler drainage nut
● Empty the boiler from its contained water

With a funnel fill 2 glasses of vinegar
● Let it stand for 8 hours
● Empty the boiler and rinse with water then close it again carefully.
● Fill the boiler with water
● Close with the cap
● Switch on and wait for the steam ready

Before you start work again it is recommended to direct the steam jet in the air for a few seconds on order to take out the smell of vinegar.

ACCIDENT PREVENTION - RULES
For the use of this appliance it is necessary to have read and understood this manual. Before starting to operate this appliance it is necessary to follow the instructions in this manual.

● Keep children away from the appliance even when switched OFF.
● Do not operate this appliance for improper usages.
● Do not use this appliance for cleaning or maintenance works.
● Do not leave or abandon the appliance connected to the main power supply.
● Unplug the appliance before refilling the boiler.
● If the power cord is damaged it should be replaced by an authorised person.
● It is absolutely prohibited to remove or damage the safety devices.
● The manufacturer declines all responsibilities for any damages arising from any unauthorised modification to the appliance.

● Always wear shoes while using the appliance
● Electrical protection activation (backup relay)
● Usage during thunderstorms

HEAT RELATED RISKS
● Do not direct the steam jet against other persons or animals

WASTE AND RECYCLING
The materials of this appliance shall not be discarded in the environment. For their waste please consult the public centre for the discard of the supplier.

MALFUNCTIONS
In case of malfunctions it is necessary to consult a technical service centre authorised by the manufacturer.

In particular it should be taken into consideration the possible troubles:

● Steam or water emission from the base of the appliance
(possible inner leakages or hose breakages)
● Water emission from the accessory instead of steam
(Heating element or water level sensor damaged or manual thermostat to be reactivated)
● Backup relay switching ON when plugging in
(short-circuit of some components)
● Power cable or iron cable damage
(abrasions or cut)

WARRANTY
The warranty is recognised according to the existing laws starting from the date of sales and within the territory borders. During the warranty period all the particulars that will be judged to be defective in material or workmanship by our technical service centre will be replaced free of charge.

Transportation and packing costs of the parts to be repaired are on the purchases account.

The warranty will expire if any of the following occur:
It has not been used as per these instructions
Any modifications done on the appliance without the written consent from the manufacturer.
Repairs done by unauthorised persons.
Original parts are replaced with different made parts.
The appliance is used differently from how recommended.
Damage occurred during transportation, or under any circumstances which cannot be considered as production defects.

The warranty automatically expires for any repairs, replacements and interventions that have been done without our previous authorisation. In any case the purchaser cannot claim for damages of any type or caused.
